Question of the day: what are the uses and the accompanying shapes of worship? Look here for a sense of what one church does.
Perhaps we need not just slightly different but radically different worship forms within our UU lexicon.

I appreciate your focus on worship
There is a badge to encourage the importance of worship that you might like to place on your site:

Let us also pray for each other and this online mission and ministry.

I often wished Opus (when there was an Opus) would have multiple styles of worship per day instead of just one … if that one fell flat for me, I was left feeling empty. But you need a huge number of people to keep that many worships going… I guess Saddleback must have that!

.nod. they do, to the tune of 14,000 or more. I don’t want ten different worship “campuses”. I am tempted to think about other ways we could worship, though, ways that might work with fewer people. One person is interested in starting youth-style circle worship, which I think is a great idea. But what about people who like it loud?
